Rachel Wade (she/her)
M.A., LPC
Hi! My name is Rachel, and I would love to get to know you!
As a counselor, I believe in the power of relationship and connection. Sometimes we get lost in seasons of disconnection caused by the impact of challenging relationships, loss, or other experiences that leave us feeling exhausted and alone. If any of this sounds familiar, I would be honored to meet you in these difficult places with empathy and care.

In our work together, you can expect to gain coping skills and support in a collaborative relationship where I hope you feel empowered to find your own answers and accept some of life’s unknowns. Whether that looks like exploring patterns that end in hurt, wrestling with who you are and what you need, or taking a closer look at how you relate to yourself and others. Through building relationship and connection, my hope is to help you hold what is beautiful and what is hard as you navigate the joys and hardships of life.
My background is in Psychology, including an MA in Counseling specializing in Clinical Mental Health from MidAmerica Nazarene University. Using an integrative approach, I draw from psychodynamic, attachment-based, emotion-focused, experiential, and cognitive theories to provide individualized care for adults 18 and up.
Areas of focus: Anxiety, depression, trauma, perfectionism, identity, self-esteem, relationship dynamics, life transition, and grief.
